$58 Million for New Senior Housing
Over ten years ago we began work with Dr. George Davis and Mrs. Cathy Davis of Bayview Hunters Point Multipurpose Senior Services, Inc. They had a vision to create an Aging Campus to support local African American residents in the San Francisco Bayview Hunters Point community so they could age in place with dignity, honor and respect. Today we join with them in celebrating as a dream comes true. On June 25, 2016 Bayview Senior Services will officially open the Dr. George W. Davis Senior Housing Residence and Senior Center. This new $58 million building will include 121 units of housing for low-income seniors, as well as a brand new 15,000 square-foot senior center with a full range of innovative support services.
